The answer is dependant on several factors.



Length of stay. Time taken to drink the first beer (if it takes you all day :)). Distance from end seat (you may not be able to attract the bar-girls attention to order). Number of unscrupulous co-drinkers (ooops my beer is empty i need to order another-doesnt count towards the "drunk" total)



err...about 12 should be enough to keep you from answering for a day or 2.
