I'm going to Munich at the end of July, and I'm planning on visiting the Hofbrauhaus and having dinner there. Is it one of those restaurants where you need to pre-book a table a few weeks in advance? If so, can I call from the UK? Obscure I know, and I've checked the website so please don't link me the site. Any help appreciated thanks :)

Munich is a town situated at the lake Isar in the south of Bavaria. It's a popular city for the wonderful structure, fine lifestyle, and the annual Oktoberfest alcohol party therefore if you want to visit after that it this is actually the place to begin hotelbye . Several individuals to Munich are absolutely shocked by the caliber of the architecture. Although it was seriously damaged by allied bombing all through World War II, a lot of its traditional houses have been rebuilt and the city hub seems mostly since it did in the late 1800s including: its biggest church, the Frauenkirche, and the popular city corridor Neues Rathaus. One of many places you need to see in Munich is Marienplatz. That place has been Munich's key square considering that the city's foundation and until 1807 and was wherever markets were presented, along with the periodic ancient jousting tournament. Additionally, here you will find: the substantial New Town Hall, the stunning Old City Hall, the Virgin's Column and the Fish Fountain.

The HofbrÀuhaus is a huge beer hall. The oldest in the world in fact.

The tables are long tables with benches which seat about 12 people and you don't book them, unless you are a company or with some sort of group.

If you want to eat you should avoid going in the evenings because it gets very full.

Nearly everyone there is a tourist and there are far better places to eat in Munich.

For a visit and a beer or two it's a great idea though. The oompah band is very entertaining.
